Terms and conditions for using the Balaan beauty booking platform

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Balaan mobile application and related services (hereinafter "the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Balaan application, you confirm that you accept these terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Balaan is a mobile application that allows users to:
- Book beauty and wellness appointments with establishments
 - Manage their appointments and preferences
 - Access information about beauty service providers
 - Receive notifications about their bookings
 
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete information
 - Maintaining the security of your account credentials
 - All activities that occur under your account
 - Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
 
4. Booking and Cancellation
When making a booking through Balaan:
- You agree to the establishment's specific terms and conditions
 - At this stage, Balaan does not apply cancellation fees. Each establishment may set its own cancellation rules and policies
 - We are not responsible for disputes between users and establishments
 
4.1. Technical Intermediary Role
Balaan acts solely as a technical intermediary connecting users with beauty service providers. Service providers are fully responsible for the quality, safety, and execution of the services you book. Balaan does not guarantee the quality of services, the accuracy of information provided by establishments, or the conduct of service providers. Any issues regarding service quality should be addressed directly with the establishment.
5. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
 - Infringe on the rights of others
 - Transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
 - Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
 - Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
 
6. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Balaan and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Balaan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
 - Service interruptions or unavailability
 - Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in information provided by service providers
 - Any reliance on information or services provided through the platform
 - Technical failures or security breaches
 - Actions or conduct of third-party service providers
 
Our liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the Service in the twelve months preceding the incident.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new terms on the Service.
